Browser Scanner Support
The Syllabic Edge Listing Scanner analyzes product-listing content that is available on the page you deliberately choose to scan. It does not modify the listing or require seller credentials.

- Open a product listing in Chrome or Edge.
- Click the Syllabic Edge extension icon.
- The extension reads available listing content from that active page.
- Review the score, factor breakdown, and main findings.
Supported marketplaces
Current marketplace-specific models include Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Etsy.
Other ecommerce pages may work when their product information is exposed in readable page content or structured product data.
Why a scan can miss information
Marketplace websites use different layouts. Some product information may be placed inside frames, tabs, expandable sections, or dynamic components that are not exposed to the extension at scan time.
When you want the most complete assessment, use the Full Scanner and provide the complete listing information directly.
Privacy and permissions
The extension uses temporary active-tab access after you activate it and uses scripting permission to read the product information on that page. Current scoring runs locally in the browser.
A narrowly scoped eBay host permission is used only because eBay can place seller descriptions in
a separate itm.ebaydesc.com frame.
Troubleshooting
- Refresh the product page and scan again.
- Expand product-details sections when the marketplace keeps them collapsed.
- If the score appears incomplete, compare the Detected Content counts with the visible listing.
- Use the Full Scanner when the marketplace page does not expose all listing fields.
